My mom and sister and her kids came down on Friday night to come with me to the ultra sound, so we got to eat Cafe Rio YUM (just opened in Cedar a few days earlier) Then we went to the ultrasound and had lot of fun letting the kids play. Late that night my Dad, Greg and Braxton all came down LATE and just went straight to the hotel (they had to work Friday)
Saturday morning they all came over and helped decorate cupcakes and prepare for the party. Thanks for the help guys! Britt had helped me pick out a cupcake cake shaped like a butterfly for the main event... it turned out pretty cute. Then we had cake pops I got from sarandipity sweets for FREE because I offered to test and do a review on my buzz blog, you can see my review HERE.
A few hours later Sherie, Cliff, Josie and Bailey showed up and they all played with the kids outside. Once the rest of the party got here Teresa's family and my friend Kori's family from St. George then we got started, we took everything outside and opened gifts Adlanna got some fun things from everyone... which included a portable DVD player for car rides, some clothes, books, toys, twilight lady bug, gift cards and cash!
After each present we had her run over and give out hugs and kisses and say thank you to each person it was cute, and MARTY even got a hug!! (the first for him ever I might add)
Then we came back in and ate cupcakes, cupcake pops and ice cream. YUM! I had to take a million pics for the reviews of the cupcake pops for one sponsor, the decorations for another sponsor then the regular pics... actually I didn't take many party pics at all... Sherie and Brittany had their cameras so most of these pics are from their handy work. Thanks guys for sharing!!!!!!!! Anyway we lit the candle and sang happy birthday to Adlanna and before the song was over and anyone even told her to blow she had blown out the candle LOL
Then we sat and visited and watched the cat and three toddlers chase a laser pointer dot around until we were all laughing ourself silly. Then the party died down and people started heading out.. we hadn't planned any big activities because I knew I wouldn't be up for much being this huge and she is young enough that we could get away with it.
The night Chris ran shopping with Sherie and Cliff's family to run get some things in town that Delta doesn't have, and my family and I hung out some more and got dinner all ready to eat. When they all returned from shopping Sherie had brought back some more fun goodies from the store including a frame with four slots all filled up with pics from the party of Bailey and Adlanna's cute cousins! and some matching pj's. After dinner Sherie and them headed home taking the crazy BAXTER the dog with them... **notes on this later** and my family headed back to their hotel. So we jumped in the car with suits and went to the hotel pool with Britt's family. It was the coldest pool ever!!! and there was so much clorine that my eyes stung and they weren't even near the water... so the pool didn't last long but was fun to be light as a feather for a few minutes. :)
Sunday we all ran to St. George to go mini golfing and get some walking and shopping in hoping to help move this baby closer to being here... We were out for 5-6 hours in the hot sun walking and playing etc... it was fun, and tiring! Sunday night we all went out to dinner as a extended Ross family... and we had the worse experience EVER, ended up leaving the restraunt like 45min into ordering with no food and went to dennys to eat at like 9pm. :) lol where my sister found a giant spider hanging out... GROSS!!! But at least we finally got to eat some food!
Thanks to everyone who came and shared Adlanna's special day with us, the memories are priceless and we appreciate the support. :)
**dog notes: the naughty dog growled at Adlanna when she would get too close or try to hug him, and that was NOT cool, so he went back to the owners to find him a new home**
