Tender moments

So because we are sick Adlanna has been waking up multiple times per night and Chris and I are still in need of sleep desperately ourselves to get over this cold. So we had Adlanna sleep in our bed last night. Chris went and got her and carried her in, and immediatly when he layed down she rolled over to cuddle him, it was so cute!!! Then I saw Chris rubbing her belly and back... as she rolled and tried to get comfy... it was just too tender, I had to make sure I wrote it down. After a long time, Adlanna rolled over and cuddled me to sleep. So glad I have these little shining moments to make me smile! Adlanna I love you!!!!

I dont know when this was taken, but it was cute and Britt put it on my computer so there.
Brittany would dress them to match

as you can see, they had interesting conversations!
cute girls!

So I will update you on Adlanna... this will be short because I don't feel well.
Addie now says down, done, shhhhh(while holding a finger up to her mouth, thanks Britt), she screams don't... (not so good) She has learned to throw (thanks Dani) She has all 4 canine teeth and woke up with a cold this morning... :( Sadly we came home to Chris being sick and now we both have that... :(

Adlanna had a fun time at Aunt Brittany's house, Thanks Britt and family for all that you did, I am very greatful. I had little diapers to change, and no baths to do and Britt basically fed and cleaned up my daughter and her mess at every meal and snack time. It was nice to have some help so thanks again! Brittany painted Adlannas fingers and toes while we were there and she took lots of pictures and when I get them from here I will try to post them.

I won't update you on the pregancny because I don't want to think about it and i dont want to remember all the hellish little details... lets just say it's hard and I finally called to get teresa and lisa to come help me, and the ward is bringing us dinner each night this week!

Thanks to the Zufelts for dinner last night, it was yummy meatloaf, potatoes, & veggies and Leilani is a pro she even made some foccacia bread!

Again any prayers are welcome :)

Catching up

WOW, so what is up with the weather, its nice nearly 60 and we are playing outside and then boom SNOW... it happened friday and again this morning it is covered with snow... :(
Today Joane flys in... YEAH! And this weekend I am headed up north for a babyshower and to see everyone! We aren't sure if Chris is coming up or not... the job he is working has a deadline of saturday. We were maybe planning on helping Brady and Randi to dig their basement but the city hasn't approved the plans yet, so I guess we will wait a few weeks for that. Hopefully I will get to eat chinese food while up there since there isn't anywhere to do that down here and I have been craving it for months now!! (hint hint)

MORE ABOUT ADLANNA
So I didn't mention any of the new things Adlanna is doing so I better do that.
Adlanna is now into blankets she always has to pull the covers up over her if she lays down... no matter where on the floor, the couch or in her crib.
She has 3 of the 4 canine teeth... so 15teeth total... "(not that I have looked for a week now!)
She is interacting with cartoons now when they play ernie says on sesame street or they put their hands up to dance she copies them it's adorable.
She has done this forever... but I should mention that she turns the tv on and off when she wants it... HA HA HA
When daddy walks in she hugs me and runs and hugs him, and again before night night time she will hurry and hug us both and of course kisses always follow a hug, and sometimes I love you follows that... then she runs to the gate to head off to bedtime.
She can pretty much get undressed... as you saw the picture in the previous post she is often taking her clothes off and trying to get her diaper off unless i put her in a onesie then she can't.
She always wants socks and shoes on... All the time... if I dont put them on she will remind me for hours until i give in. HA HA HA (does anyone else have issues finding matches to socks... I swear the dryer eats them ALL!)
Adlanna loves the cats, she tries to pick them up (see the picture below) of course they are too heavy so she only gets their front half off the ground... but they just let her drag them around like this and love on them. I am sure there are more but my brain is stumped now.

MY DR. APPOINTMENT
Yesterday morning I had my first appointment. It was at 9:30am. I had set my alarm for 8am and woke up at 9am when the alarm didn't go off, so we packed breakfast got dressed and took off. We didn't even get called back into the office until after 10:30am. Then we heard the heartbeat it was 160BPM which is super fast so a boy! IT was funny because he couldn't find the heartbeat at first until he moved down to the left where I have felt that baby is... and then boom little beats!! Then we had the not so fun exam and then got sent over to have my blood drawn at the hospital. So we got signed in there and had to wait and wait and wait finally around 12 we got called back to be poked... oh and suprise pee in another cup! Thank goodness i'm prego or there would be no way I could have peed in two cups within an hour! Anyway I was blessed that Adlanna was so good she sat in her stroller the whole time and snacked and read books etc... but with the 3hrs + I was there they were pushing their luck. MEanwhile I was sicker than sick from not being able to eat, I mean I took some fruit but that is only going to last so long! So they took 4 1/2 vials of blood (WOW I forget how much they take) and sent me on my way.
OH I ALMOST FORGOT! I am due officially on Sep 23rd, which is what I thought from the internet but last time with Adlanna they said a diff day. anyway so that is exactly 3 weeks after Addie's 2nd birthday, or 2 weeks from her due date. Brittany my sister was due with Jaiden my nephew on Sep 23rd (her second) and he came on the 10th... SO........... we will see. We have a lot of september birthdays...
Adlanna 2nd, Jaiden 10th, Doug 14th, Julie J. 19th, Grandma Ross 20th, Sherie 21st, Lacie 27th... So we could def. have a double birthday... (those are just my immediate family that I know off the top of my head i'm sure there are more, so dont take it personally if I didn't list you... I dont have my calander here to look at! and I am prego with forgetful brain!)

We found a double stroller that will work with our car seat so we can keep the little one in the car seat and have Adlanna out and being strolled around so that is exciting, we didn't get it but it's it pretty? It is cheaper than I thought it would be! I ordered and got some BIG SISTER ribbon to make Adlanna a bow and i'm excited, but I haven't had a good day to make a single bow yet. :*(

Adlanna is 18mo!

Can you believe she is actually 1 1/2 years already?? WOW times flies!!!
Here is a glimpse into what a 1 1/2 yr old gets into!

This is what we did over the weekend we played outside it was warm most of the days, and it was fun to get her slide outside and play. She is bundled up because it was like 5pm and getting cold and chris wanted to go play again before it got cold. (HA HA it was already cold!)

Ok so now for the boring stuff, feel free to zone out of leave a comment now.

Pregnancy update: So I am not telling you this to complain but to remember and chart how these pregnancies go. So remember this started off painless... I was shocked I could feel that good... yeah that didn't last. Because of the cold I have puked more, now my body is in habit and I was puking once a day, then twice a day and finally I was dehydrated which is NOT good. My tummy was acheing (still is btw) ALL day and night long... which is just miserable... I gave in and called the dr. for some medicine, I got some phenagren for the nausea which the last 3 days have helped. I still have been out because I am adjusting to how tired the medicine makes me... taking cat naps throughout the day. Plus the acheing (which the dr. says is 1. from dehydration and 2. from chasing addie and picking her up etc...) so I have been taking it easy... Yesterday I puked despite the medicine because of some excess phlem from my cold that yes is STILL here... THAT puke HURT my tummy BADLY... like brought tears to my eyes, It was the strangest thing ever, then all day that part of my stomach (which is low and on my left which is where I feel the baby is) hurt, like I had pulled something... which put me into a mental./ emotional stress out and it wasn't good. So I think I partly checked out, I forgot everything I was planning on doing yesterday and I didn't do anything... :( Anyway after lots of praying I do feel better and am not as worried... but man this is HARDER than I imagined... I must add I have cried a lot more with this pregnancy... its madness but I get so guilty thinking i'm a bad mom to addie because i can't play with her as much or i forget to feed on time and she is starving before I realize although I'm not hungry she is! Plus learning about dehydration and how much I was puking I was stressed I was hurting the baby... BLAH BLAH BLAH... I would count 2 emotional breakdowns where I just cried all day long! :(

Now for the good news, my first appointment is on Monday... I finally decided which Dr. to go to so that's off my brain... and I am thrilled to hear the heartbeat... or two. AND hear my dr. predict a boy or girl... HA HA

Then OFF the subject... Joane comes into town on Tues... So i'll get to see her and her belly and toddler over that weekend...!!!! (not to mention most of her family which is like my family)
