August Begins.............

So we ended July and started August off camping for a Jensen Family Reunion. We had a lot of fun! We camped in Oak city canyon by Delta and it was awesome. I love that camp ground, one day we need to get some 4wheelers up there because there are plenty of trails and they look like FUN!

Friday night we finally got there at 8:30pm and set up our tent and sleeping arrangements. Everyone there was eating dinner so we just sat around the fire and visited. Adlanna went to bed shortly after that, and she went straight to sleep no problem! despite the dog barking nearby.this pic, chris took Adlanna on a daddy daughter hike and posed just for ME :)

Saturday we visited lots more, we tye dyed shirts and we ate food. It was nice up the canyon not hot like I was worried about, I think I got hot twice and that was when I wasn't in the shade... but it was pretty darn good weather, even for being in my 7th month of pregnancy. Julie, Zane, Jackson & Heidi came up for a few hours on Saturday which was nice because we hadn't gotten to meet little Heidi since she was born and she is 16months old now. The kids played while we watched them, and when Cliff and Josie brought the wagon up from Gigi's house Bailey and Adlanna went to town playing with it, pulling each other back and forth. The kids also had fun playing with marshmallow guns , play dough and Roxy (cliff and Josie's dog)

fter the fire Saturday night I went to bed and Adlanna woke up just having nightmares... she was dead asleep screaming and crying NOOOOOOOOOO, and would cover her face, and when we woke her up she was fine, but then she would fall asleep a few min. later and do it all over again, I think this lasted for like 30min before I gave up on her falling deep asleep and let Daddy take her back out to the fire to wake her up enough to forget about the bad dream and be able to sleep. After laying down in the tent, I couldn't get up... earlier that day I had to take a muscle relaxor pill because of back labor, and once I layed down that night I was in TERRIBLE pain... the back labor was back despite the earlier pill and I took tylenol but it didn't help, I thought my back or belly was going to explode it hurt so bad. Finally I drifted off into dreamland and the pain went away. We all woke up again when the dogs barked long enough to wake everyone because they saw a deer in our camp and didn't like it there. LOL

addie stuffed her mouth with treats
Adlanna loved playing fetch with Roxy until Roxy returned a little too fast and knocked her over, but Josie and Bailey were there to love her better.

Sunday morning we just packed up and headed out, Cliff and Josie were headed off to Logan so they had a long drive ahead of them and they left early, then we just finished cleaning up camp and loading all of the stuff back down to Delta. We went to Sheries house and the farm house to drop off tree's that Chris got off the mountain for free at his jobsite down in Brianhead and then we headed out home. We got home around 1-2pm, which was the earliest we had been home from a weekend trip in a long time!

Thanks for all who came to the campout it was GREAT to see you all, even if for a SHORT time. We are sad we missed some of you... Thanks to Sherie and Josie for planning and putting it all together so we could have a reunion this year!
