Sunday-Monday-Tuesday

Sunday we went first thing up to the Norths to take newborn Connor's pictures. I am still editing them, but will show you a preview shortly. Grant (Joane's dad) sent us home with some carrots and hot peppers from the garden, so we are going to make some fresh salsa! Thanks Grant and Chris for watching the toddlers so we could take unlimited photos of Conner. (see more of connor at: www.myportraitstyle.blogspot.com)

Then we ran back and ate brunch with the Armstrongs... thanks for waiting for us guys! As we were leaving to get into the car, Adlanna refussed to hold my hand down the stairs, and when she got to the part that the railing is TOO high for her to reach I asked her again, but she reached anyway and fell face first on the steps... OUCH. Luckily she was at the bottom and only scraped up her nose on that bottem corner stair. :( (the cheek bruise was from an earlier fall from the couch onto a toy, the nose scraps are from the stair incident.)a bracelet I got for her birthday, we had to try it on to do a review on the Etsy shop.
Addie being silly yesterdayand grumpy!

Then we headed off home... We stopped in Delta on the way home to pick Shrek up, his tests were negative so we get to keep a cat! :) yeah! Adlanna loved seeing Shrek, even if we did have to listen to him meow for 30min. We stopped at the garden and got some yummy goodies!!! I have been CRAVING squash like EVERY single day, so I was glad to get a few, plus some tomatoes to make homemade salsa, and some zuchini to make fried zuchinni and some zuchinni bread. :) again yum! (Pictures later when I get copies of anything Sherie or Josie took)

Monday I had my O.B. Appointment.... DID I MENTION TODAY I'M 32WEEKS.. YEP DOWN TO 8 SHORT WEEKS! The baby's heart beat was 140bpm, and she kicked the dr. Adlanna gave the dr. a dirty look like normal and she spilled her cereal bag ALL over their floor... ooops! The dr. said that at 38 weeks is the planned ultrasound and at 36weeks we bump up to weekly appointments, and start checking me. At that time (36 or 38 not sure, It would make more sense for 38weeks) he could strip my membranes if I havne't started naturally to get this baby here sooner and make sure she stays as small as possible, but still cooking all the way. I am not sure how I feel about this... anyone had it done. I want to talk! But I kinda feel like that's cheating... Anyway I won't babble why... so anyway... I also must mention for journaling purposes... plus i'm excited. I gained no weight. So I am currently exactly my prepregnancy weight.. :) YEAH!!!

I had Lacie scheduled to come eat lunch with me that I owed her, then run with me grocery shopping since Its getting harder to do that these days... But time schedules messed it all up, so Adlanna was napping when she could finally make it down, so I just had her sit here and FB while I ran to get food including free ice cream with coupons that FB gave me... and a few ingredients for dinner. Chris requested a Chicken pot pie be on the menu this week.

Which brings me to Tuesday: tuesday I had more errands to run, and then I came home and made Chicken pot pie... yes Tues. are normally Chris' night to cook so I started the prep (which is longer than the actually cooking time) so he could just throw it in when he got home, but he text he was going to be LATE so I just cooked, he arrived within min of pulling it out. YUM... seriously this might be added to our menu more often... I was going to do individual pies, but I forgot so I just did a normal pie dish and it was GREAT!!! Anyone want the recipe I got it from a friend in St. George. :) Otherwise Tues... I watched a whole two 3 shows on the DVR first tv I have seen since getting home. The last episode of so you think you can dance, then I got chris caught up on hells kitchen and we watched the new hells kitchen. It was a nice relaxing evening!

Today I have been updating the rooms moving more things over Adlanna has been super helpful to help move her laundry from her old dresser into her new one... even IF some of it comes unfolded during the process. Since she slept in Dani's toddler bed all week and had minimal problems, we threw her crib mattress on her big girl bed until we get a twin, and started her sleeping in her own big girl room this week. Sunday night no problem. Monday night, she screamed until she was hysterical so I snuggled her then she went to bed. Tues she went to bed after a min of fake crying. Nap time is fine... we close the blinds and the new curtains so its dark and she knows it's time to go to bed. I am suprised she hasn't climbed out at nap time to play. Everytime I go in to get her from a nap or morning, she is still in bed just calling out MAMA. :) What a cute gal she is!

Adlanna loves to be silly lately, she grabs my cheeks and moves my face back and forth and laughs hysterically it's entertaining, Chris and I end up laughing too because it's contagious! She loves having her kitty back and just loves on him each morning and each time he comes and purrs and rubs up against her. Glad to say he is acting normal again not sick and not moapy anymore... :) SAD but true. She pooped on the potty and pee'd on the potty two additional times up north, and the last time she told us poop before she started so we got it all but a skid mark in the toilet :) YEAH!!!!

The belly update is this... I am getting HUGE... seriously I feel HUGE. somedays I bend and something pops like I squished her and it hurts... the back labor is less often I think I only took 1 pill at Britts, and I am getting hungrier and hungrier... however I am learning to snack more often and eat more items. The day we were up at kim and seans house, Sean was talking to me about the pregnancy and the baby started moving so Kaylah came and felt her move... it made me realize how special it is and to enjoy this time more and not just notice how uncomfortable I am. Which is hard to do, I can't guarentee it each day... but today i'm happy and good. Last night the belly just wiggled and wiggled, I could just stare at it watching her poke out in different spots and wonder what body parts it was. LOL I do wish I had bought a prego pillow though to help me sleep and get comfy at night... laying there for hours until I get comfy is a pain... Somedays I feel like I can't walk because my hips pop in and out or they are just really sore and have lots of pressure, but it's only occassionally. :) I think that's all...

I have lots of things to make this week and get caught up on before this weekend... this weekend is the Jensen Family Reunion in Oak City canyon, I am excited to go even if it's only like 13 of us.. Wish me luck sleeping on a foam matteress in a tent. Also cross your fingers it's cool enough to tolerate, and that I don't have any other problems. :) I am excited to see you Jensen family (Chris' family)

p.s. if you haven't seen I got the gateway and the slip and slide pics downloaded below! :)

Oh poor little Addlanna her face looks ouchie! I love Addlannas bracelet it is very cute! As far as the stripping of the membranes go I know several people who have done it and here is my theory, that baby will not come unless she is ready to come so if the dr strips your membranes and she comes then she is ready if not then she is not. That is my theory on that and I don't think it is cheating at all!
