Adlanna is so big she climbs up on everything... she can even get on top the kitchen counters.

Babies Babies and more Babies

So this past weekend I took off on Thursday during Adlannas nap to get a few things done. 1. some shopping for Bailey's birthday so I didn't have to buy from walmart... I am sick of that store!~ 2. I had a baby shower on Sat. for my cousin in CA. She was there on Skype because she is ready to pop... due Feb. 8th... But I bet he comes early! 3. My mother had Friday off so I wanted to go shopping with her and check out this store NPS she talks about that is up in SLC. 4. I have a few families signed up for a family session to take.
So Adlanna and I got there around dinner time, and tried scheduling a photo shoot. 1 family was too busy this weekend with my short notice. and the other family went to Cedar for the weekend HA HA HA. What are the chances. The other sessions I have up there are two maternity sessions and neither belly is big enough yet... So no pics!Adlanna started pulling her pant legs up like this and walking around over the last few weekends and I barely got it on camera, cause I think it's funny! It was sucessful we got the shopping done, I found the dancing brobee that I have wanted for Adlanna for a while now from 35.99 marked down to 8.74 WAHOO!!! She loves him, it's cute. We also found birthday presents for Bailey and an outfit for Adlanna... and some random other little things ...
The baby shower was great, my cousin SARAH who I didn't even know was pregnant was about to pop, she is due with a girl finally after two boys... She was so excited. I just found out this morning she had her daughter last night !Congrats to them! Nicole who is due soon is so cute, she seriously is one of the cutest gals I know! It's her husband that did that show "notorious" and was on Mythbusters crew... anyway she loved her blanket and gifts we all got her, and she just looked the happiest thing ever it was awesome! She is naming her son Leonid. It means son of a lion. And Rick the daddy is a leo and the granddaddy was a leo... so it's to honor them!
check out her face up close... crack me up!Saturday after the shower I headed to Delta to meet Chris. He said if he worked half a day or less he would meet me in Delta. When I got there they were in the middle of moving things around from storage unit to storage unit, so we finished helping mix things around. Then we went back to the house for yummy chicken dinner and to talk again until late. HEE HEE. I think we were only up until midnight this time!
Sunday morning we ran to grandma Jensens' to put up her coat/ key rack and then headed home. We got home and played some halo and did the dishes etc... it started snowing late last night and it hasn't stopped, we have about 1ft right now... MADNESS!

It seems like everyone is pregnant. I have two friends due in Aug. one in July, one in FEb. one cousin in feb since Sarah just had hers... or it would have been two cousins in FEb. it's crazy how when one person is prego, it seems like everyone is! Ha Ha


p.s. Adlanna says Dorda which is dora... and she says WOW and she is really good at blowing her nose... which is helpful!

Most Improved Award Goes to...

ADLANNA!!!
So Adlanna has been practicing using utensils... and last night she never gave up and used her hands, she used a fork to eat lasagna... it was awesome! (and not very messy!)
This morning like most mornings I gave her yogurt and a spoon. Usually she has yogurt up to her elbows, down her front, up to her forehead... Today notice that it's just one little spot on her cheek! AND the spoon isn't completely covered like normal! YEAH!!!!!I don't think I have mentioned Adlanna says STUCK she has for a while, but I always forget to tell you. Yesterday she climbed up the slide 3 times and would get to the top ready to go down then start crying saying "STUCK, STUCK STUCK" It was SAD!


This is the rag quilt I just finished for the baby shower this weekend. I am so excited to see her face when she sees it!!! :)

Food for Friday: Chris' Chicken tenders

So, I know it's only Thursday, but I may be out of town tomorrow so I wanted to add my recipe today. This is for Heidi!

Chicken Tenders (Chris' recipe)
Chicken tenders or breast cut into bite size cubes
1 Cup Soy sauce
1 Cup Olive Oil
1 Cup sprite or 7-up

Mix sauce in a bowl, then add chicken and let sit for 10min. Then throw everything into a skillet and let boil and turn brown. The time to cook depends on the size of the pieces, but it you cook them too long they will be very strong with soy sauce flavor... After a few minutes, pull one out and break it in half to make sure they are done.

This can be eaten over rice, or with mashed potatoes.. and veggies. You could cut up peppers and make it a stir fry... do whatever you want! But cook the veggies seperatly because there will be left over sauce!!!! (TOO MUCH TO EAT)

Adlanna said some new words over the weekend: BUTT, HEAD (don't ask!) & DORA. She is so much fun, and had a lot of fun playing with her cousins at the party.This is what our dogs did while we were out of town
