This weekend we ran up north, we had a ton of fun, so here is the recap!!!
Friday we got up there in time to meet Sherie who was on her way from SLC to Delta and went shopping at toys r us and the mall together, we got Chris some dress pants and shoes since he had his last pairs break and get ruined, and we found a big and tall store we liked, but wished it was MUCH cheaper LOL
((or that money grew on trees that would work too))
We ate dinner at Carabba's and had a good visit with that grammy Sherie.
Saturday morning we woke up and ran up to gigi's we dropped some customers' bows off on the way and then we arrived in SLC, we had gigi meet us underneath her apt in the garage to use a shopping cart to push up a big planter with tomatoe plants in it, for her to hopefully enjoy! We talked and played and she got to play with the girls. It was a good much needed visit.
Then we ran over to the gateway where we met up with my HS friend Jenny and her family. Her little boy Cody is one of the VERY cutest little boys I know, he wasn't fond of the water at the fountains so he played on the grass. At first Adlanna wasn't too happy with the fountains either but once Daddy helped her run back and forth (in her new water shoes-- thanks Grammy) then she loved it... she got soaked enough she was shivering so we called that a day and wrapped her all up. Then we went out to lunch with Jenny and fam... Jenny is about to pop she is due in aug... and it's a little girl and she is VERY cute prego. We ate at applebees and caught up on life.
After the gateway we had enough time to run back to my parents house to get ready to go out. The kids were sleeping when we got there so Chris slept in the car with them with the AC running, while I ran inside to shower and change, then the kids woke up and Chris came in to shower and change. We then ran them to Brittany's house to be babysat so Chris and I could go to my 10yr HS reunion... yes it's true i'm that old...
We arrived and went in, and they told us we could walk the halls if we wanted, so we went walking, brought back lots of memories, and it was fun telling Chris some memories... we ran into Erin a HS friend and then we walked the hallways together and caught up with our lives... Then we went into the gym to sit down and eat and found a few other friends, Tracee and Breagan, and Max the Class pres... he is and was so funny... he told me that (he's single and no kids) one day he just might buy a bow... they are so cute and he thinks he would be a good model for me. LOL (he's on FB and see's my bow postings )
We ate some not so good food, played some games one of which Chris totally won, and then headed home. All in all it was fun and I am glad we went.
Sunday we packed up ran to costco to grab diapers and then drove the long ride home........
