More updates on the house updates:

Chris has been working hard outside, to finish stuff. The shed is finally covered by siding, and the door framing is covered, there are a few finishing touches he needs is all so that's nice. We got a little planter to try to grow straberries in, so Adlanna can learn to garden and plant with me each day. The dog run took the money we need to build a raised garden that we wanted, so I guess that gets to wait. The apple tree is full of blooms so that's fun and the strawberry plant already has lots of little berries growing! :)

We got our storm/security door in and it looks nice... Thanks honey, for finishing it. Other than that, we have re-arranged some items on the walls but otherwise it's the same...

Jennalee is 8months old.

Jenna's stats at 8months old are:

14lb 6oz, and 25 2/8" tall.

I am told they are suppose to double their birth weight (7lb. 2oz) by 6months, Jenna is just doing that now. Skinny little thing! she is babbling more and more and she is a great crawler, she rolls and crawls and loves to pull herself up to standing, if you give her your fingers to help her. :)

She still has a light brownish dirty blondish hair and tons of it!!!









Since we had Adlanna checked while we were there her stats are:
27lbs 8oz, and 34 7/8" tall. :) She hated to stand on the scale, like usual!

Kids say the funniest things

Adlanna:
today while driving I hear "mama stop!" from the back seat, and When I ask Adlanna why should I stop? she says "Stop sign mom, see a stop sign"

When Adlanna puts her panties on and she puts them on sideways or upside down so they don't fit, she runs over in a fussy voice and says "mine bum hanging out"



Chris:
He sat down to dinner and didn't grab a drink, so he asked if I could get him a drink cause he forgot. I said "you forgot?" he said "yeah like plankton forgets to blink, I forgot to get my drink."

I think someone watches too much spongebob!



Jenna:
Says mamamamamamamama, she also says DA! which are the two things she says LOL

Mothers Day

For mothers day we got my storm security door, we got a heck of a deal with using $40.00 gift cards that my sister Brittany and her family gave us two years ago, and $75.00 from My points... yes those points really do add up!!! (www.mypoints.com-- let me know if you need an invite I get points for others joining!)

We ate dinner together at Texas road house, SURPRISE!!! I had a choice between it and red lobster I have been talking about Red lobster for months, but I wanted to pick cheaper so that I got another surprise too! Which is dr. martens sandels which only Dillards carry in St. George so I am still sandel-less :(

Also Chris stopped at the NEWLY opened See's Candies and got me a whole box full of chocolates... he tried getting me my favorites by ordering something with caramel and marshmellow (meant to get scotch kisses) and instead we ended up with a new kind of chocolate we hadn't had before.

While we were down there we ran to 4 stores looking for hot pink ribbon that I NEEDED for a HUGE bow order but failed, go figure hot pink is a popular color.

When the kids went to bed Chris got out my fav. WII game and we played together... something we haven't done for months!




I love being a mother and am so glad I have been given the chance! I have the two best little girls in the world, that I couldn't live without. Motherhood is something really special and i'm really lucky to have this chance. :)

Lacies Senior Pictures

This is Chris' neice Lacie she is graduating in a few weeks and she had me take her senior photos... It was fun. :) she is very photogenic, and we found some awesome places to take future photo shoots as well! :)
